Here I lie beneath the sky
With the star looking down on me
And I looking back into
The infinite glitter of the night

Here away from the city
The sky seems to grow
And the stars look
As if to ponder down on me

Here there is peace and joy
The noise of the city is silent
But the noise of the forest surrounds me

In the far pond a frog croaks
In the trees an owl is stalking it prey
Farther then that a wolf howls a soft melody

All of these sounds are
Pleasant and sweet compare
To those of the city
The honking of horns
And yelling people
